Animal House

Who doesn’t love a cute romper? It makes getting dressed super simple because it takes all the guesswork out of picking out an outfit. And let’s face it…there are just some days when stressing about dressing just isn’t worth it. Thus the invention of the romper solves all! No more struggling over what top to pair with which bottom, and then figuring out the shoes, the bag and the jewels that will complete the whole ensemble. That’s where this look comes in!

This romper is my favorite piece to look at in my closet right now. Maybe it’s the playful animal print or maybe it’s the reminder of warm weather, but either way, this piece is so perfect it can stand entirely on its own, with little legwork needed from me. I am not too fond of wearing spaghetti straps on their own (not sure why – just makes me uncomfortable) and since this little romper has adjustable spaghetti straps, I figured it was a prime opportunity to throw a classic blazer overtop and really dress it up. Oh and the shoes…don’t even get me started on the shoes!I purchased these during the winter for $9.99, Yep, that's not a typo.

I guess my only complaint with this outfit and rompers in general is needing to use the ladies room. That may be TMI, but rompers make for some pretty awkward – and lonngg trips to the wash room, that can end with a handful of disastrous outcomes.

So though it may look cute, wear with caution. And not out for a night of drinking. You can thank me later :)
