A is for America

8:14 PM

A is for America. B is for Blog…J is for Jessica. Well actually J is for J Crew, which happens to be high on the list of stores I love love love. Joe could attest to the fact that I’ve never walked into a J Crew or J Crew Factory store and walked out without a bag J If you follow my blog religiously (of course you do!), then you see this brand pop up time and time again. Matter of fact I was in the elevator the other day, and a lady told me I looked like a walking J Crew ad. That’s almost as high a compliment as the time a lady told me I looked like ‘America’.

Speaking of America, it’s almost her birthday!! For many of us, this many barbeques, beaches and a day off of work, which we’ve all earned, right?! This little striped sweatshirt is perfect for July 4th weekend, which was my justification for why I purchased it a few weeks ago J After a day in the sun, I almost always get a little chilly at night (who am I kidding – I ALWAYS get chilly at night), and knew I would need this little blue and white striped beauty to keep warm for the fireworks. Plus it was only $30, so of course I headed straight for the checkout line!

Be on the lookout for another Independence Day look to make an appearance on the blog soon, too. While this outfit is perfectly casual and would look great for the upcoming holiday weekend, I tend to be a little more theatrical when it comes to dressing for holidays. Plus I need an excuse to break out my American Flag scarf and overalls. America would be so proud!

Any big plans for the upcoming long weekend?
