Suede Babe

One of the best things about fashion is seeing all the trends that come and go, year after year. Some trends I love and some I don’t (um, hello denim skirts!), but when I find that trend that I am in love with, it can put a serious damper on my wallet.

Suede is all the rage this Fall/Winter, but let’s be honest in a couple of years this trend will just be another “she wore what?!” in the evolution of the fashion life cycle.

Since I know that trendy clothes are ultimately short lived, the last thing I want to do is break the bank. That’s the number one reason why I love shopping at Marshalls! You can count on finding trendy items, at a fraction of the cost which is where I found this perfect Chloe K suede dress.

This weekend was exceptionally warm in Chicago, which is awesome because last weekend was the pits, but nevertheless I styled this dress with my little suede booties to accommodate the warmth. That said, this could easily be styled with some riding boots, some over the knee boots, or an oversized blazer. You could also layer a turtleneck and tights underneath for extra warmth, which makes this a great universal piece for the upcoming seasons. Now add to this the fact that it was only $20, and let us all rejoice in the savings!

I’ve never met a Marshalls that I walked out of without making a purchase lol. When I bought this suede dress, I also found some other great staples that will be featured on the blog in coming weeks, as well as some new Fall candles so mine and Joe’s place can smell exactly like pumpkin spice and caramel apples :) Sounds heavenly, right?!

So if you are looking for something to do on this lazy Sunday, join me in a trip to your local Marshalls to stock up on some Fall essentials! You and your wallet will be glad you did :)
