Photography & Plaid

8:07 PM

Welp, we gained an hour of sleep last week. And while that was great for about a day, it’s now dark at 4:30pm here, making daily blog pictures with Joe practically impossible. Fall/Winter is always the time I want to procrastinate the most too…it’s cold, snowy and dark and frankly I just want to cuddle by a fire and drink hot chocolate.

But procrastination is not serving me well when it comes to blogging. Running a blog is not something that can be done on a whim…or perhaps it could, but not a successful one. There’s pictures, editing, writing, emailing, accounting, invoicing, outfit planning, collaborating, tagging…lions, tigers and bears OH MY! I really need to get my butt in gear this Fall/Winter and start planning ahead. While I love my day planner and it serves me well for my day job, I need to start taking my night job (yep, that’s blogging!) a little more seriously and stick to a strict regimen.

That said, I am currently vetting photographers to assist monthly/bi-weekly! While Joe has been amazing with his dive into the photography world, he travels a lot for work, and sometimes our schedules just aren’t on sync. So I need to work with a photographer at least monthly to help out with shoots.

If you, or anyone you know is a photographer in or around the Chicago area, feel free to comment with their email, or send me an email at jessicalynnawesley@gmail.com so I can reach out to them!
In the meantime, if you have procrastination tips, feel free to shoot those my way too J

Happy Wednesday…time for a glass of wine.
