Happy Monday babes! I hope y’all had a stellar weekend :) I actually had a lot of fun this weekend relaxing and binge watching more Gossip Girl. I swear, the more I watch these episodes, the more episodes I feel like I have left!! Nevertheless, I am amidst season 5, so I should be wrapping on this show soon and frankly it’s taking everything in me not to just google the ending because my patience is getting the best of me!

Anyway, I also took part in something really exciting for the blog this weekend. I can’t share too many details up front, but it involves a really good friend of mine and I am really looking forward to sharing the final deets – plus, it also required me to get up at 6:30am on a Saturday morning, and y’all know how much I need my beauty rest, so stay tuned!

Since Joe is going to be out of town most of this week, I am hoping to get ahead on some blog stuff since I’ll likely be bored without him anyway…I’m also still trying to decide what to wear to my bestie’s wedding this weekend, so if you didn’t check out that post and cast your vote, be sure to click here.

I wish I had more time to create another custom dress from Eshakti (like this one pictured above!). This site is a dream come true for anyone that considers themselves NOT the norm in regard to sizing. Since I am petite, it is really hard for me to find things that fit right off the rack – especially dresses! Basically, they're either way too long or too big all over, and this is why my tailor and I are on a first name basis :)

But my favorite thing about Eshakti is you completely customize the dress (or skirt or top) before it’s even made! So I picked the print of the dress, the style, the neckline, the sleeve, the length and provided all my measurements to have this dress completely customized to me and my body type!! You would think that this type of service would cost an arm and a leg, but this dress was cheaper than half the dresses I buy off the rack and that's without the tailor! There are so many cute prints to choose from too, that I am really kicking myself for not creating another dress for this wedding.

Oh well, I can always create another dress just to have in my closet – right?!
