Okay, so who else was as devastated as I was to have to return to work today?!! Long weekends are such a double edged sword…while they’re great for getting a little extra time off and some extra zzz’s, you ultimately return to work with a thousand missed calls, tons of email to catch up on and a feeling of impending doom because you’re a day late and a dollar short on everything you do. And while I was supposed to use this extra-long weekend to catch up on blog related things, instead I slept, shopped and watched re-runs of project runway…meaning I didn’t really accomplish anything I had set out to do. #IProcrastinateProcrastination

In other news, the Nordstrom anniversary sale is right around the corner and I am getting so excited to do some mega clearance shopping! I’ve already made a wish-list of items that I want, should they go on sale and am chomping at the bits for this sale to begin. Matter of fact, there’s a pair of wedges (see those here) that I am drooling over and will just look perfect with this dress.

I wore this dress to a festival Joe and I went to this past weekend in Naperville...maybe not the most weather appropriate considering it got down into the 60s on Sunday night, but it was fun and flattering and well sometimes that’s just more important!! There’s just no better feeling than a dress that fits like a glove and makes you feel like a million bucks…not to mention, this dress even got the seal of approval from Joe – and frankly, he’s the toughest critic of all my clothes! I talked about Eshakti a couple of weeks ago on the blog (didn’t read it? No worries – click here) and how you can custom make clothes to fit your exact measurements and body type…that means no trips to the tailor and no worrying about whatever you ordered not fitting.

As the proud owner of a body type that does not usually fit clothes “right off the rack”, Eshakti is a dream come true and a store I’ll be ordering from time and time again.

Hope each of you have an extra special week!!!
