It's February, which means Valentine's Day (and yummy chocolate like M&M's candy!) and NYFW! I absolutely love NYFW…not because I actually get to go, although I was invited to a couple shows this year – just didn’t have the time to be able to travel all the way to New York right now (bummer, right?!), but because I love looking at all the street style on Instagram, Snapchat and in various magazine articles for weeks to come. Some of the looks that are worn by my blogging role models are always so chic, perfect and inspirational, so I am looking forward to seeing this year’s #ootds.

Speaking of looks, I did a little shopping this past weekend because I finally grew tired of only fitting into three pairs of pants I own. This bump gets harder to dress every single day ladies – seriously, but that’s a whole other post. There were so many cute Spring arrivals in store windows that I couldn’t stand it…I’m talking lots of ruffles, lots of bell sleeves and a lot of tweed. For some reason, I am really digging tweed right now…it reminds me of classic Chanel and Princess Kate and those are two things I always want to think of when I get dressed lol.

That said, there is one big problem…tweed isn’t a very forgiving fabric because it’s thick and heavy, and frankly it’s really difficult to put this baby bump into stiff fabric! Before I got pregnant, I swore I would be the most stylish expecting mother…and then I got pregnant and all I wear are flats and lounge clothes lol. But nevertheless, today's look is an attempt at blending of all my favorite trends right now, while still being 23 weeks pregnant.

It has the classic pleats in the skirt and some ruffles along the neckline of the turtleneck. All paired with a lower chunk suede heel and a cute little bow tie. It’s certainly a hodge-podge of items I paired together in my closet, but sometimes those outfits are the most fun!

Speaking of fun, how cute are all these Spring arrivals? Please someone go buy all this so I can dress myself vicariously through you lol?!
